VR SS: Bonnet latch broken, how do i open the bonnet?

As title states. My bonnet latch is broken. Cable is jammed.

I need the bonnet open. How do i do it?

Please remember that anything to do with the cable will not work. It is jammed and does not move AT ALL.

Depends on where it's stuffed i would think. Try getting somone to bounce the bonnet up and down on the latch while you pull on the cable to see if you can dislodge the jam. Is it jammed in the normal position or pulled position or somewhere in between?

try to dislodge the spring from the primary latch from beneath the bonnet with a screwdriver , second trick if the bonnet pin isn't super tight and you have a square shaft stanley screwdriver flat blade and a shifter or spanner to fit on the shaft you can unscrew the bonnet pin from beneath ... see how that goes
