VS & VT interchangeable?

just wondering what parts are interchangeable on the VS and VT'S? just incase one of mine dies i know which bits i can tear out

they are both ecotec, didnt think there would be much though cheers

I'd be looking at the ECU and maybe the compression to find a difference in their Ecotec's. They were released with more KW's and lower fuel consumption. Engine wise... well is the same engine. Transmission and all the gadgets, little bits and pieces are all gona be newer technology on the VT. So is it just the chip and all electro gismo's that make up the differences under the hood? VT would be great for newer VS spairs!
