Vs thermo fans?

Hi there all

My vs wagon thermo fan will not kick in unless i turn the air-con on I only noticed it today as i had the air-con off for once as i live in a hot area like Mount Isa QLD so what is causing this to happen and why and what to fix please.

Check your relays under the bonnet next to the fuses,the lo Fan relay in particular,just swap it with the LP Check relay,they are the same,and see if the fan comes on then .If that is your problem then they are around $10 from holden.The fan should cycle on around half way on the temp gauge and cycle off around a quarter.It should just keep repeating this when sitting there idling.
