I have a VS Wagon the problem i have is that the Speedometer needle is working, but the counter is not, any idea's what the fault may be, and how to rectify. would help on this pls.

I have a VS Wagon the problem i have is that the Speedometer needle is working, but the counter is not, any idea's what the fault may be, and how to rectify. would help on this pls.

99.99% of the time it will be the little cog that has stopped spinning on it's peg and nipped a tooth off.

This stops the trip meter from working. $14 or $19 off Ebay and about 30 mins to fix it.
