!!!Every VR sounds the same??

hey guys
ive noticed every vr commodore sounds the same from the front of the car when they drive past. they all have this rattling/ticking noise. anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it? im sure they didnt make that noise when they came out from factory.

Well if EVERY VR sounds the same, then bets are that they did come from the factory like that

i know what you mean mate, that rattlingg sound...

i heard its got to do with the timing chain getting loose over the years, plus other worn things adding to the noise

I think its a combination of worn suspension bushes, wheel bearings, timing chain, engine bearings, intake noises, various panel rattles and squeaks, etc Pretty much wear and tear. I prefer to call it character but.
