vs maloo need help valueing

Hi just after some help with regards to valueing my vehicle, what sort of money do you recon it will fetch?

VS series two maloo
28,000kms (has lived under covers almost all its life and still has new car smell)
Not one dint or scratch on it- as in new condition real collectors piece

Far out mate what a hot car, I love every bit of it, looks better with the symonds rims too. I think you could probably get around $25,000 for it. Other people may have other opinions though. Do you have any bigger pictures? That ute is the sex!

If your wanting to fetch top dollar as a collector car, your best bet is return it to stock, and piss off the aftermarket stuff.

I'd Say, as it sits, you'd be lucky to get $15k for it.

Not worth much with all the mods on it mate, just as Stealthy said. $15k max regardless of k's. It's an old car, not modern at all, the mods decrease it's value.

i had a mate who sold his vg maloo a couple of years ago, he asked hsv how much it would roughly be worth and they told him they can't cos they don't know how many are left.

in the end he sold it for 12k.

at the end of the day its only worth what someone will pay for it and considering you can get a vx one for around 20k you'll be lucky fetching 15k

Seems I was way off! The vs utes used to hold their value a lot better, but it seems the last few years and the prices have started to drop quite a bit.

VS utes with a V6 go for about 6k,V8's about 8k,SS's still 10k due to being rare,Ive seen a maloo go for 6k once,wish i got it but was paying off berlina.Other VS Maloo's i see go for 8-10k. Where did you get the spoiler,most people hate them but i really want a T-wing like that

Most people wont care that its been in 5 magazines. The low k's mean nothing unless your talking about a stock car.

No-one is saying its a crap car, were just saying don't be surprised when you don't get what you think its worth. Plenty of ex feature cars have sold for way under what you'd think they are worth (some at 10% of the total cost of all the mods done to them)

Cars aren't an investment mate. You will never make any money back off the mods you do to your car. Mods are good if your the owner, but for a buyer its disconcerting and seriously devalues the car. The low k's and condition do give it a little boost in value, but no exponential amount. At the end of the day, it's a 10+ year old car, it's outdated, it's been modified...end of story.

oh and i saved it FROM DEATH ( 7weeks later the house i picked it up from in QLD was under water) ( SO STOCK AS A ROCK I DONT WANT TO MOD IT)BLOODY shame ,vt barkes is the only thhing( thats it) and illl keeep the old hsv brakes at the back of the shed
