Hubby bought me a not new clubby and while she's a beaut she has serious issues (not me the car). The rocker covers were replaced because of the oil leak which is still leaking, the top of the radiator is leaking somewhere AND NOW the steering wheel vibrates when she is in 4th. He who thought he knew best has absolutely no bloody idea. I think he bought me an expensive lemon. HELP ME???
Rocker covers are abit tricky to get to seal & if they have cork gaskets on them then there will be little chance of that have tryed them but went with the rubber ones & they where abit of a mission to sort but I got there in the end . Steering vibes , I would be getting a wheel alinement done first as they will beable to see if there is anything majorly wrong underneath that may be the problem & sort it from there . Seems strange that the vibration is only in 4th gear & not all the time maybe driveshaft out of balance , But would get alinement checked & tell them what it is doing . Unless the tank is split I would check the hose's & their clamps are tight first then look at the water pump for signs of leaking from the bearing weap hole as it may be getting old if the car has done over 100,000ks .
See how things go & post up if ya need any help , live in New Plymouth & could come & have alook if you get stuck

try switching your front wheels with your rears, i had a vibration in my steering wheel and i only felt it when i was cruising at 100km/h just turned out i needed my wheels rebalanced.
