    Default where is the little windscreen washer motor ?

    hey guys i have a 97 vs sedan and i cant find the little motor that sprays the water onto the windscreen [ she aint spraying to well ] any ideas where it is ? cheers muz

    pretty sure its under the front guard.. find the filler neck in the engine bay and the motor will be on the washer bottle under the car.

    yep ur right,its attached to the washer bottle,which is under the front left of the car,in front of the tyre

    Mine grows a nasty-smelling fungus/mould... it blocks the pump intake filter (part of the pump seal ring). Eventually it gets to the point that the pump runs (fast) but no water sprays on the windscreen.

    next time I have to clean it out the bottle will get a coat of radiator black & a shot of bleach with the first fill...

    Or water gets into the motor and rust seizes it to the magnets...

    Pull apart, clean with a nail file, WD40 it, put it back and she will work again...

    Takes about 20min to do...

    Saves you $20 to $40 buying a new one
