    can anyone answer:
are they a bolt on replacement? no other parts required other than pads?
how much better are they? bigger discs?
do you need engineers cert in QLD legally to have these on your car?

They are not a straight swap. Spacer rings are required to fit the VT rotors to VR-VS hubs.

You will also need a VT master cylinder due to the extra displacement of the VT calipers or you will have next to no pedal.

Cheap....that will cost more in the long run to get it working correctly.

But do a search on this topic..I think there are two or three or 500 threads already covering it.

Nothing wrong with VS brakes mate, they are alot better than older cars. However, driving a VT and feeling it's responsive brakes compared to a VS...I'd go for the VT any day of the week. Much much much better brakes, it's not all hype mate. Do it, it's worth it!

80% of it is probably just pedal feel tho. Stand on a VP hard enough and It'll stop plenty good, you just need some extra leg powa

VS's use a the later style quick fill master cylinder (similar to the vT one but one size smaller) and it is a better M/C than the earlier models but isn't big enough for use with VT calipers.
I believe the later VE caliper kits (that are being sold around the traps) work better as the pistons are smaller and the calipers are stiffer.

Not a bad price..you will need new longer brake hoses and a bigger master/booster....vs brakes are adequate sure but with good pads the vt/x/y upgrade is soo much better...no uneasy feeling when you initially step on the pedal that you arent going to stop and panic stops pull up much better.....if they were fitted standard I reckon there would be fewer vr/s in wrecking yards.
