I've been looking at vin numbers and what they mean. Like the tenth(10th) vin digit is year of manufacture.
H=1987
J=1988
K=1989
L=1990
M=1991
N=1992
P=1993
R=1994
S=1995
T=1996
Now what I want to know is why my car is a 1995 VS sedan,made in October 95.The
10th vin digit shows it as a T, which is 1996.Is anyone elses like this?Mine has been REVS checked,all ok and not stolen or anything.Maybe a stuff up at the factory or a changeover model type thing,does anyone know anything about all this?

It always goes by the VIN. If it says its a 96, its a 96, not a 95.

Oh, i get what your saying.
The VIN dates don't work by calendar year. T doesn't mean Jan 1st to Dec 31st, they are staggered dates.
