    Question vs commo accesories always on!

    so even when my key is completely out of the ignition, everything still works on the car for eg. wipers, blinkers, lights. where is the problem and how do i fix this.

    Possibly a faulty ignition switch.

    where do i find the switch?
    or is the switch the actual barrell?

    I'd check the ignition relay first - it's under the bonnet with the other relays. Try swapping it with another identical relay. Pulling the key barrel is a bugger of a job IMO.

    Ignition switch is eeeeasy. 2 small screws on either side and it will fall in your hand. Wiring simply unplugs.

    The ignition switch is on the other side of the barrel ( the barrel goes into it) but as hako said, it could possibly be the relay being stuck on so check that first.

    has anoyone tried to steal your car lately? if so the theifs may have buggered something up

    nah no 1 has tried...but have an update.. i took the dash cluster out to change over the odometer cog and once i put the cluster back in everything went back to normal..

    have no idea what it could have been but im not complaining..

    had the auto elec look at it yesterday..said he didnt see any problems with it at all...looks like it was a temporary ghost...!
