I also got the same problem. I am using a full tank of fuel around every 250 kms.... I also smell fuel sometimes when I take off hard? Anyone got any ideas for me also? My engine is stock 3.8L V6 and its a VS Ute.... Using more fuel then V8's. Sigh

id be quite happy to have a cammed 355 using that much fuel. i doubt you have a bit issue, although it really depends where youre driving. got a dash that displays your average speed? do you do mostly country driving or city? if your dash tells you, how much fuel are you using when sitting steady at 100km/h on the freeway?

To the OP, there is nothing wrong with your fuel consumption. That's pretty good economy for a cammed 355, mine is sitting at around 22-23L/100km's with city driving, and 17-18L/100km's with freeway drives.
