Is this part off a VT?

I need a new tailgate for my wagon, and I recon the black thing on the top of the tailgate is from a VT? Did VR/VS have anything similar? And should I leave it off when I get the new tailgate?

It's a dust deflector. It was available as an option. Check out my ride to see what it looks like on my wagon. Whether you leave it off it up to you.

Looks a bit better on your car, it sticks out a lot more on a white wagon I guess. Also, did you put the cargo barrier in yourself?

HSV ones were colour coded. Mine is colour coded, but its a really dodgy colour, so i couldn't tell you if it was factory or not.

Looked at a few wagons here with the dust deflector colour coded (I never noticed them except on VT's lol) and I recon I'll be putting it on the new tailgate but painted white.
