    Default VS no go

HELP! Have a VS that won't start. I Checked spark and it seems fine.
When car starts it dies almost immediately.Sounds like it's out of fuel, but I put more in it to be sure. any suggestions would be helpful.

Have you pressure cleaned the engine lately, or degreased it, if so it could be water in the oil pressure switch - this supplies power to the fuel pump and if it gets wet and corrodes the result is much the same as you describe.

Also check the fuel pump itself, can you hear it when you turn the key to on(not start). It should go for about 2 seconds, then stop.

I had a vp with a faulty emobliser it would either die on start up or stall with no warning while driving luckily it had the overide switch in the passenger side door jam so I could shut it off

Ive read on here that the actual alarm keylock in the door jamb is the cause of this problem. It gets a bad connection inside it.My oldies own a VP and someone has removed the keylock from the door jamb altogether.Their immobiliser still works though.I guess they just cant turn it off. Does anyone know if you can buy these anywhere?
