The trans cooling lines on my vr are kinked and broken so i removed them. I live small country town and can not find a second hand pair anywhere!! Im thinking i might cut them off say 15cm from the fittings on the trans, flare them and use oil lines to run to the Trans cooler. What do yall think? I know there high pressure but people are telling me they should not blow off once flared. Need some advice as this is stalling my whole project and frustrating the hell out of me. Thanxs

I know it sounds good in theory but i did it and i got 3kms away from home and the hoses blew
they use hard lines from the factory because they are more durable and easier to mount. flexihose will do as long as they are fitted properly. i use 2 hose clamps on all flexi lines. also make sure it's secured along the entire run so the chance of em being damaged is reduced.
the other option is to only remove the broken section and replace with flexi hoses and use the good parts of the hard lines
