    Default T56 conversion in vr

Hey guys, need help! Just bought a t56 out of a vr GTS came with all the things is need tailshaft, hydrulic box etc. Need to know if the clutch and flywheel that came with the box will bolt to my crank, what is the large sensor near the shift(reverse lockout maybe?), will i need a speedo converter and are the ratios in the eariler t56 different to the ones behind the GEN3? If you have done this conversion before lets me know what problems you ran into...

so its off a 355? id say it would be sweet, judging by the way you decribe it i think that is reverse lock out near the shifter...my mate just put a t56 behind his auto vy ss and he said {i think) that its just pos and neg and you just need to hook it up to the accessory wire somewhere in your car.

....im looking at getting a t56 from a vz ss onto my senator so if you find anything out let me know...

Yeah its off a factory 355, so running the wires to power does it allow reverse to be engaged, if you find out let us know.

how many wires are there at the relay? if its 2 i'd say it can only be pos and neg.
