G'day guys,
When trying to fix my centre consol gear selector light, yesterday. I tested the globe holder with the multimeter, and the probe must of touched the negitive, and shorted out the dash lights, heater/aircon control lights. I then checked number 16 fuse and it wasn't blown. I did notice however that the fuse was a 15 amp fuse, not a 5 amp. I checked the fuse holder with the multimeter and it isn't getting any power. Does it sound like a relay problem to you?
Thanks in advance guys!
Terry

If it was the wrong fuse, especially a higher amperage,it might have fried somthing else.Id check the fusible links in the fuse box under the bonnet. If your lucky it might be just one of them blown. Also I dont mean the fuses under there, but the fusible links, they are different coloured square things with a fusible link that you can see through a little window on them.
Yeah I will check that out in the morning. Thanks heaps Brett!!!!!![]()

It turned out to be a hair fracture in the fuse. That's the reason why I thought the fuse wasn't blown. The fuse was replaced and it all works now!
Thanks guys!
