Air Con not working on speed 1 and 2

I have a random issue, my Air con/Heater does not work on fan speeds 1 and 2, i had this same problem on my old VS and my mate has it on his VR, my mate recently replaced his fan speed selector and problem still persists, im assuming its got something to do with the fan.

My fan works fine on 3 and 4, infact it blows my head off.

Anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?

replace the resistor underneath your wipers, assuming its in the same spot as the vn-vs

Its your fan resistors.They are under the plastic cover under the wipers,Theres a square small box with wires going to it on the left hand side,Undo this and look at the wires inside the cage thing ,they will be broken,You can solder them back together or buy a new one or second hand one.

thanks for the replies, i just found the guide to replacing the resistor, ill have to order one next week.
