In my VRSS auto when I sit on the brake and spool the rear tyres the auto plays up real bad I only spool them for a second then take off but when I do the auto revs out hard in every gear then SLAMS!! into gear and when it gets to 3rd really doesnt want to change into 4th the car stays like this til I stop it and start it again, engine light comes on for 15 seconds but no fault code logged?
Start saving those dollars now. Spooling is what will kill an auto real quick as you are simply overheating the trans oil between the clutch facings which leads to premature failure. It's good fun but unfortunately doesn't last too long.
a good idea would be to stop spooling.... until you build a better gearbox
whats the difference between my missus and my blower??
well they both whine but the blower actually puts out
Sounds like the engine light is the trans slip code, which isnt good.
if it was the trans slip code wouldnt it log a fault although I did read somewhere that Holden took the slippage code out as it was causing alot of problems
If the engine light came on it should log a code. Check them again...the faults follow the 3 sets of 12's.
