Angry vs heater on all the time

g,day heater on at all times, doesn,t seem to be vacuum at tubing and can,t see any holes. the hose at the rear of engine is working and all the other flaps are opening and shutting.i have wired tap shut because even in melbourne we get summer? i don,t think it,s the valve as it can be operated by hand easily.does anyone know if it goes to a t piece behind firewall.thanks in advance.

It might be the diaphram on the side of the heater tap leaking air.Hook the hose up to it and suck on the other end of it.If you get air coming through it,its stuffed.

You might want to check that the heater tap itself isn't corroded internally... I replaced mine last weekend, the rubber shut off thing inside the tap was half missing from corrosion!

Once the hoses pass thru the firewall they go straight to the heater...no T pieces. Your problem will be the dial that gives you hot or cold air - when turned to cold it must depress a button which allows vacuum to go to the heater tap. There are quite a few posts on this problem.
