Exactly what I did when mine broke.too easy. Also I wouldnt leave it like that for too long,The heater core has no coolant going through it and will rust away in no time.Big job, like the whole dash out to replace it.

Remember that it is a requirement that your vehicle has a working demister. By disabling the heater you may in fact be in breach of ADR requirements. Might sound 'pedantic' but these safety improvements were put in place for a reason.

Any (ANY) modification(s), unless approved to ADR standards, that change/alter/modify any aspect of your vehicle from the ADR standards/requirements that existed at the time of manufacture of your vehicle are ILLEGAL.

benboy are you trying to give keepleft a run for his money in being pedantic? all your posts lately have been complete dribble. unless you're going to offer him information on how to do what he's asking, just keep it to yourself.

You're right, everything is illegal, hell even getting rims 2 inches bigger than stock is illegal. Just do us a favour, and take yourself to the todaytonight or a current affair forums, where you'll fit in with the rest of the wowsers.
