Are any of the bolts in an ecotec metric? Im assuming since it's a GM engine they will all be imperial but i just want to be sure.

I see, well to rephrase, which ones are imperial? Neither of my workshop manuals specifies. I ask because i want to clean the threads with a tap and die.

    Try using a thread guage?
There usually helpful. Or maybe measure the width of the thread and you should be about right there.

Well i went out and bought a metric thread gauge since i already have an imperial one. So far all the bolts i've tested are IMPERIAL. Either 5/16" or 1/4". All the metric threads have a distinct flat spot in the trough of the thread.
