hey guys.
am trying to find out for friend who has 95 vs wagon. what newer v6 motors can be put in?
The ecotec v6's out of vt-vy does anything need to be done to slip them in? Not as important but also the early alloytec vz 190kw, will this go in?

You can put any motor you want in. As for cost, that is another thing. The VZ Alloytec will require a lot of custom work, and will be quite expensive.

If your just looking for a motor to replace your current worn out engine (i.e. bolt in replacement), simply go with what was released from factory. You won't need to get it engineered, and it will be a much quicker swap with less headaches.

You can swap the VT-VY Ecotecs, but I think you just need to put an extra temp. sensor on somewhere.
