vs ss v8 engine re build

hey is $999 for a complete ground up engine re build worth it,, the engine has done just over 200 000klms so im considering it just wondering what other people think. i also have $5000 more to spend after the rebuild any ideas on what i should do to the car. (complete exhaust already done)

i think it would be worth it, i would be looking at cam, chip and headwork. should keep you happy with a fair power increase. if its an auto look at a shift kit, or maybe a short throw shifter for a manual.

You should price up a 383 stroker kit for it then youll be into some horsepower.
