VS S3 manuel to auto
ok guys im running a vs s3 and it has the roller motor in it im wanting to change my gear box to a pre electric auto like vn t700 is there any thing that will stop me can any one help me with this ?? will i need to change the wiring and computer or will it run on the manuel one the reason im looking at this is i dont want the computer to change gears also if i can run one of these i may even go trimatic and get block set up for it ???

but if ur ken go with a turbo 400 powerglide box with a high stall converter
why would you want to go trimatic? id go turbo for sure if you buliding it for a burnout car id go turbo 400 or if its still goin to be a daily id go turbo 700.
Personly id keep the manual over a auto any day
i have now got a t700 i do alot of around town driving and high way over changing gears and want a converter i got a pre electronic t700 so a vn on and im trying to work out the gear drive now to suit my dash
your going to need a VN computer and loom to.
there is another way the turbo 700 i have is non electronic and because i have a manuel i dont have shift points in my computer the only wiring on the gear box is reverse switch and speed pulse for speedo i have spoke to some one who is running a trimatic in his vs s3 ute but was done when he bought it

my car is a 5ltr 2000model vs s3 ute ok it runs the same as a vt 5ltr in other words i have a air flow meter so i can not run a vn loom i have to run vs s3 or vt s1 i have found a vss sensor for the auto so i can plug this in were the manuel goes as these read back to the computer and the speedo runs off the computer this is why i have had so much trouble i have spoken to auto elecs and they have said i can run a manuel loom as long as i get the vss working

like i said only problem i have is working around the vss now and im off every thing else is ready to go
i need to run some thing like this just neew to work out if it will work with a holden computer
