VS to VT V8 auto question

Hi all, just curious to know if i can fit a 5 litre auto from a VT into a VS, basically, are they the same? Thanks.

I'm no expert on auto's but i would say yes it will fit but the difference is always the plug connectors. Check them carfully on the 2 boxs an see if their the same. If not it is usually possible to modify somhow but you need to know someone with the knowledge to do it.
