Default bypassing heater tap.. which hoses connect too what?

i have the problem of hot air reducing the effectiveness of my aircon, ive checked all of the hoses and pipes which are hot and the little vacuume hose is not sucking too engage the heater tap.
now ive been told i can bypass the tap and just connect the hoses together , which ones do i connect and also does this cause the heater core too go dry?

All you gotta do is undo the hose with the fat end where it joins the heater tap.(leave the fat end connected)Then remove the other hose form the motor then put the other end of the fat ended hose on the motor where the other one come off from.

why not just fix the suction problem

probably a adjustment problem with the hot-cold dial in the cabin
