    Default Vr lowered springs

    Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows if vn front and rear IRS lowered springs will fit into a vr with IRS no problems both front and rear as far as I know rears are same but not sure bout fronts any help will be much appreciated thanks

    Fronts probably will, but I doubt your VN springs will be IRS. I don't think any VN had IRS (or if they did, they were rare). If both cars were live axle, then I'd assume so.

    Do you know what brand they are?

    Nah not sure on brand but it's a vq caprice it's definatly IRS I know for a fact

    Then it's not a VN. Rears should fit without trouble.

    Wasn't the VQ Statesmen/Caprice based on the VP which technically was based on the VN which could technically mean it is similar to a VN?

    I was of the understanding that the S1 VQ was based on everything VN, then when the S2 rolled around, it was based on everything VP. Dunno if it's true or not.

    Not really, because that's like saying that the Alloytec came in VT-VY, because it's technically based on the VT platform...

    bullshit. VP Calais were first factory produced IRS (there was some non released stuff ealier than that)

    IRS was made standard across the range on VT. IRS existed long before the VT though.
