Default RPM and Temp gauge not working

    Hi all
So i bought a v6 BT1 VS a little while ago, and the RPM and temp gauges never worked, it didnt bother me at the time, untill now
i found a BT1 dash on ebay to replace my "broken' one, got it today, went to fit it, and the gauges still dont work
does anyone have a idea on why this would be, now that i have ruled out the cluster itslef, what are some other things i can try and test?

Try replacing the Thermostat for the temp guage?
Make a few tests on the sensors responsible for speed and coolant temps.

Have you invested in a gregory's manual so you know where all the sensors are?
