Default v6 vs pacemaker extractors ??supercharged??

    hey guys,

a bloke is selling pacemaker extractors they are for a v6 but hes listed them as for a super charged motor, i asked him if they would be suitable for a n/a application but he wasnt sure n said that they were a different engine so it would be unlikely. im not very knowledgeable in this area but i searched up the pacemaker website, to see if there were seperate extractors for a supercharged holden engine, but couldnt find them, im thinking these l67 extractors might fit if theres no clearance issue or anything..

    Hey man,
Nah the extractors are exactly the same and would run fine. Supercharger runs off the engine as a turbo runs off the engine fumes.. Hope I haven't confused you.

    Best of luck

No, they aren't exactly the same, the supercharged ones have bigger primary pipes. But they will bolt on and work fine. That is for the VT though, Pacemaker only make one set for a VS V6. So yes...they are exactly the same....

From what I know in the VS range there is one size of extractors for all V6's. Its only when you go up to VT onwards that you can order bigger sized extractors to suit the super 6 engine.

I just bought a set of pacemakers (tuned length ones )and they said there are two different ones for the N/A V6,(in the tuned ones.)they had a larger outlet.2 inch versus 2half inch outlet I think. I got the smaller ones.which are excellent by the way.

Pacemaker only make one set for a VS, PH5039. I don't have the current catalogue so that may have changed recently.

The exhaust shop told me when I ordered mine in that there are tuned and untuned ones available and different sizes available in the two.

theres the link if it helps, thinking about it, is it really worth it? im not sure if i'll need a new y piece and for the condition they are in i might just be better to go with a brand new set..

Hi, looking at a second hand set of pacemakers extrators for my VS v6 1996 ute. Is there any variations in ute, wagon etc? or like earlier said one design for holden VS v6.

The headers should be all the same as the engine bay area is no different, also why not start a new thread instead of digging up old threads.
