Speedo not working on 2 cars

So i have been trying to see what was wrong with my car cos the rev counter wasnt working
so i borrow the cluster from the mrs's VS,
and turns out that its another issue on mine, so i put back mine and the mrs clusters
NOW on both cars the Airbag light stays on AND the speedos are not working
i need to at least get one working ASAP, my guess is that there the same issue and i have maybe just done something wrong, is this something i can work out my self, or best take it to a auto elect ???

Was any of the airbag stuff (including the wiring)undone for any reason,because if the key is turned on while any of the srs system is disconnected it will log an error in the srs system,and you will need someone with a scantool to turn the light off and clear the error code.Not sure about the speedo not working .Someone here will know something about it though.

if you can get another cluster maybe? give that a go? i think i have one lying around, where are ya?

There is only one way to remove the airbag light and that involves either an auto elec or Holden....and anything from $20 to $100 to plug their Tech2 in. The car can still be driven but the airbag is disabled.

would resetting it also fix the speedo issue
its not clusters i know that, i think the system jsut needs a reset and it will come good,....i hope?

Resetting the airbag light will not reset anything else.You can reset the engine management system by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.I dont know if that will fix the speedo problem though.It might be the VSS(vehicle speed sensor)playing up.Id check for error codes and see if anything shows up.Checking error codes VR/VS (Revised)

i just checked the erro codes as well, and i get 12
which is a more pain in the ass

Did you let it go through for a while,it will show code 12 three times, then any error codes that may be logged,then code 12 again.(just making sure,some people dont know much about this stuff).code 12 is all ok.
