    Default spark plugs and leads...

hey guys i have heard around that upgrading your spark plugs and leads can improve the performance, is this true and if so any ideas on what i should get, i got a 99 vs 5litre which has the vt 5litre motor and transmission if that makes any difference.

    cheers..

Unless the old ones were giving trouble you will not notice much difference at all (my opinion). However, it's good sense to replace plugs and leads every few years and buy the best you can afford.

Unless you are on gas I'd just go by what the salesperson says, but if on gas you need a certain type. You will get 100 different bits of advice from here on lead brands....I reckon they are all much the same.

therese no point replacing part of the ignition system cos the rest wont be able to keep up with and u wont see much of an improve ment unless u do the whole system
