Vr v8 manual ecu wanted

Hi guys,

My ECU got fried from water.. does anyone have an oldie they want part with? or know of a substitute i could use?

any help would be great

Any vr ecu will work(possibly vn/p too but im not 100% sure) its just the blue memcal chip inside that has the program on it. I got a vr v6 one here as a spare for mine but it hasnt got the vr v8 manual tune in it, though i do have one booting about i dont really wanna part with them. I bought the whole ecu off ebay for $50 then sent the v6 memcal off to greenfoam to get modded to a v8 manual, that cost me $60 for that too. But you probably need it now which isnt real handy, but dont get ripped is all im saying spending 100's of dollars on new ecu's or memcals ect....

look in our for sale section on Delcohacking.net theres a guy selling vn 808 ecu's that have been converted to vr manual high speed aldl and will be direct plug and play dunno how much he wants should be pretty cheap

Or if your ecu is buggered and you just need one to keep on running you can just use a VN/P one in the VR manual, your ALDL wont work but that wont worry you. Just swap the VR memcal into it first

apart from VATS is on the aldl i think they do actually start but run bad

Really? I thought they would be plug and go 100%, I'm sure I've seen people running them in VR's. Worth a try ifyou have one to test anyway

works fine with vats turned off in the tune.the 808 ecu is direct plug and play just the vats in the vr memcal is what causes the greif as its worked down the aldl wire that the vn ecu doesnt have hence why we turn the vats off when using vr tunes in 808 ecu .you not had any sleep again foamy LOL
