    It's all really common sense.
You need a spark plug socket to suit, a ratchet to suit the socket.
The plugs should be gapped to the right amount when bought.
When changing the plugs, change them one at a time by pulling one lead off, change plug, replace lead, move onto next one.
The spark plug has a thread on it so you have to screw it out with the ratchet and socket.
When tightening them, dont over do it, just do it till there firm. Or if you have a torque wrench set it to 45Nm I think it is? and do it up till it clicks.

If you plan on working on your car a fair bit, I suggest you get a Gregory's manual, which is very helpful and pays for itself in the long run. They are about 45 - 50 dollars.

One important thing to remember is to pull the lead off by pulling and twisting the plug connector....don't pull on the lead as you will break the lead internally and then have to buy a new set.
And as Wombles says, a Gregorys manual comes in awful handy.

Spot on Peter, I stupidly did mine whilst the exhaust manifold was still VERY hot....I could smell pork frying.
