commodre vs door speakers

hey people im wanting to upgrade my door speakers in my vs and wanting to know what would fit in there besides the factory ones like 6x9 there to big though anyone know what size to get thanx im after 3 way speakers.

6"s and 6.5"s fit (sometimes with a bit of cutting to the pod)

yea save yourself the trouble and go the 6", I put 6.5" precision response splits in my doors and it was a mission and a half

6" and 6.5" both refer to the cone diameter, when it's the basket size that makes life difficult. You'll be able to find 6.5"s that fit perfectly as well, and that'll give you a much bigger range to choose from

And ignore how many "way" speakers are. Look at some higher quality coaxials and you will see they are all just the one woofer and one tweeter. They will sound better and go louder. While you are at it, ignore power ratings unless you are running them off an amp, in which case only look at rms ratings
