VR, VERY overfilled gearbox accidently.

as i said, i accidently overfilled the trans quite a bit, and its leaking like hell when the car is running, the fluid is a stream of fluid, not dripping, a stream! seems to be running down the torque converter cover..

im pulling the pan off tomorrow and draining all the oil and putting the right amount in, but im worryed i might have stuffed it up, when overfilled quite a bit, is it normal to leak out the torque converter cover? well at least run down the torque converter cover.

i hate Autos, i prefer Manuals, but this car was to good for the price, manual conversion coming soonish lol

why dont you just pull one of the trans cooler pipes off the radiator and start her up and pump out some oil???

sorry didnt know you could do that, that sounds much easier, will do that!

shit load easier lol They normally pump in to the bottom of the rad and out the top.. if you cant get a container under there park it somewhere you dont mind making a mess.
