is the fuel pump sitting in the tank correctly ??? are you able to drive with a fuel pressure gauge hooked up to confirm loss of fuel pressure ???
when my fuel gets to about quarter of a tank and i acelerate it starts to choke and almost like its going to cut out and i can hear popping sounds coming from either the catty or the engine?? iv changed the fuel pump and nothing has improved any suggestions would be helpful!!

no im not sure on that as far as i no it should be sitting in there properly if the mechanic done the right job
I'd try measuring the fuel flow at fuel rail, tells you how to do it in a workshop manual if you have one, that way you can see if it's getting sufficient fuel, then go from there.
fuel surge for sure broken swirl pot badly seated pump or incorrect filter sock or the hose to the surge missing all the late models are bad for it just starts happening out the blue due to any of the above reasons .the swirl pot is plastic and cracks and is easy damaged fitting a new pump as well
I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
