    Default VR/VS HSV Steering Wheel?

    Hi guys,

I purchased a steering wheel off a bloke in Perth on eBay claiming to be a VR/VS HSV Clubsport leather steering wheel. I went to a Commodore wreckers today to find a horn pad to suit, but they have never seen it before.
The Commodore wreckers then directed me to Holden, but they were unable to tell me anything about it.

I need a horn pad for this so I can fit it to my car, however it doesn't need to have an airbag because my VS does not have a drivers airbag.

This has a GM stamp on the metal and a number on the side in the foam before the leather which Holden said was the casting number. It has 2 screws to hold in the airbag/hornpad and what i have bee told is 2 locating holes in the upper arms where the horn pad meets the wheel.

    Hope someone can help.

Here is a picture of the steering wheel.

That wheel does look very familiar...can't think exactly what model/series it's off though! Surely Holden would be able to find out exactly what it is by the part number??

It could be a VR airbag wheel....tis hard to tell without the hornpad....
From memory there are 3 HSV steerers in the VR/VS range...
    VR non airbag(i need one)
    VR Airbag
    VS airbag(slightly different to VR....)
    hope that helps a little....

Didn't Holden have HSV Momo/Nardi wheels up until the VS?

That could just be a leather wheel out of a Statesman or something.

yeah only VT onwards has the HSV logo on the airbag pad. VS-VX horn pads are swap-able i think.
