Default Installing VS trip meter into VR Commercial

I got a VS Sedan to use as parts for my VR Ute and want to install the trip meter/speed alert into my VR but im just wondering if its going to be a simple plug any play. Is there anything other then the device itself that i will need ? is the wiring in a VR commercial ute the same as the VS in that aspect ?

The install is the same but if the wiring isnt there you will have to install it see this thread
The unit is a speed alert and low fuel warning...it isnt a trip meter.

I would of thought that pretty much every Holden VR/VS Commodore would of had the wiring for the speed alert as every exec etc ive seen that just comes with the coin slot still had the wiring for the speed alert.
