    Question Lifting a VR back to legal URGENT HELP this is my nephus Xmas present

    Hi gals & guys
    I need some info on lifting a VR sedan back to legal hight.
    It has a live axle & Im wondering if Ill need to replace anything apart from shocks & springs ???
    I gota have this thing back on the road ASAP {you know how impatant kids are}

    just get some stock height springs and fit them or get them fitted, call a few wreckers they will definatley have the springs.

    I have the springs ready to go, Well kinda
    Im swaping my stock height kings & monro gasies with his nice low ones,,,
    BUT he has live axle & I have irs so ive gots him the correct springs but Im not sure if I need any others bits...

    shouldnt need to change the shocks if your not dramaticly changing the height, its simple if he has live axle in the vr put the springs in there to suit wether they be high or low, just dont put irs ones in

    does his car have shortened shocks and struts? it wont make much of a difference if it does, the springs wiil still fit, and you wont need anything else, but suspension travel will be a little bit shorter.hope this helps you out

    Fronts done easy as & my car likes its new look
    Now for the rears & the petrol tank leaks ect ect ect
    Thats free cars for ya
