Changing Key & Remote Over

My central locking on my VR isent working any more so i was wondering whats needed to change out the ignition and central locking from my parts car to my VR, If i used the door lock and ignition barrel so the key is the same what else is needed for the recognition of the remote etc.

Also encase there are any problems the current setup is a VR 1 button remote etc but the parts car is a VS 2 button remote.

Have you tried just fixing the key?

I have changed the remote with a new 1 and its still no good

You will need to change the BCM as well, but I don't know if the VS one will work in the VR.
