Exclamation how much brighter bulbs can i use then standard headlights ?

guys i have a 97 vs v6 sedan lowered and im going on a trip soon and its alot of night driving anyway my standard headlights arent adjusted properly and also they could be a bit brighter .ive seen in autobarn for 35 dollars sum white light main bulbs instead of the yelloyish crap i have in the car at the moment my question is can i go any higher on the wattage of the bulb without dramas ? i think the standards are 60/55 h4 , ? and can i get brighter high beam bulbs [ the litle seperate ones ].and also i wanna adjust the lights im going to drive to a shopping centre at night and face the car towards a big wall but my question is what is the best distance from the wall to then adjust the headlights ?also guys what does the little bulb by itselfon the inside next to the main h4 bulb do ? cheers muzza

you will probly find that the yellow is your headlights not the bulbs and the little bulb is the park light

the higher the wattage globe the more strain on your wiring , headlight circuits are made to handling a certain amount of current draw for a period of time there fore the wiring used may only be good for 60 watts putting in 130 watt globes will draw more current than the circuit can provide safely , end result wiring starts to melt fuse box over heats and melts the contacts into the plastic body . replace your parker globes as they are turning yellow due to old age and use check your headlight fuses too as over time they can become higher in resistance too causing lower voltage at your globes .. buy some good driving lights combo of spot and flood and mount them on the front of the car

Go for the, I think it's called "Blue Vision" Headlight bulbs. they are about $50 - $70. they come with both the parker bulb and headlights.
They do help with the distance and brightness and is probably the best one to get.
The two above it, ive heard are crap. The "Diamond vision" and something else..

HID is my recommendation for anyone 10000k bulb rating and it wont over load your circuits. cost more yes but great light output

I thought that about 4300k provided the most light? So wouldn't it be better to get that rating instead of 10000k? Which would be utterly useless when dark in the rain?
