HELP!!! Vr Ute Trip Meter Stopped working

My ute's trip meter has stopped working in the last few days, doesn't read anything, reset it and it is still on 000.0.

Anyone know what the problems could be?

Just wanna see what opinions are out before I go pulling out my dash or anything and to know what to look for.

my trip meter stopped on me. when i took it to the repair place the guy said that the little cogs inside start to deteriorate due to the oil that Holden uses to lube them up. it eats them away so nothing spins. it didn't cost a lot to fix but you will have to take the speddo cluster out to fix it

Check in the "how-to" section as there is an article on how to fix it. The cogs are on Ebay for under $20
