The engine in my VS V6 is on it's last legs. Water flowing in through a manifold leak, sump plug helicoil coming out, (big job to fix) big oil leak at the front, and 300k on the clock.
Was thinking of getting another car, but would rather spend less money getting a changeover engine fitted. Drive in, they take motor, put reco one in, and I drive away.
However, as I've always replaced cars, rather than replace engines, I have no idea where to go for this.
Had a look at sites on-line, from the yellow pages, and they're not too forthcoming with information.
So, any advice on where i can get the above done? Prefer in the eastern suburbs of Melb, but can travel if needed.
Can't do any of the work myself, as I have nowhere suitable to actually do it.
