    Default VS handbrake light

My mate has a VS, 97 Executive. I was driving it the other day and noticed his hand brake light stays on the whole time while driving. But the actual handbrake is released, obviously.
I've heard of it happening before but don't know the way to fix it. Since then he said it's always on..

    Any help is appreciated

will be the little switch earthing out. to fix you have to remove the centre console (easy) and trace the yellow wire to the switch, then its just the matter off stopping it earthing out and will be good as gold
    Power is measured in DECIBEL

In our other car (nissan) the brake light symbol on the dash means a fault with brakes, either on or out of juice.. checked the levels??
