Sons VS auto clunks (best described) when going from park to drive nuetral to drive etc, have serviced box, oil, filter, changes gear nicely while driving, should I be looking at mounts, uni's etc otherwise car runs well![]()
Check out the rear suspension bushes. They can make a clunking noise when they get worn.Especially noticeable when shifting from reverse to drive etc.
+1 for uni join. not expensive to fix
Also check the rear engine mount - get under and grab the back of the gearbox and try and move it in any direction....it should be fairly firm. Also eyeball it - if covered in oil it will soon fail.
