    Default Electric Antenna Switches

Hey, I have a couple of electric antenna switches one is for up and one for down (picture shown) that fit just below the radio... of a vr commodore

im not sure which pin is for what on the rear of the switch for wiring it up.. ( such as ground, ignition 12V.. etc.) there is 4 pins on the back of each switch

im not going to be using these to control the antenna. If anyone knows or has a diagram please let me know... thanks.

2 pins are for the backlight inside the switch, the other 2 are just switch contacts. I believe the 2 pins side by side at the top of the pic are for the backlight. the other 2 pins towards the bottom will be the switch contacts...

Depends how you wanna do it, but i couldnt be fugged wiring it properly so i just used the contacts plus a n/o relay and wired direct to the antenna on a constant 12v source. So key on or off i can use the antenna. Which i wanted so if i leave it up after i take the key out i can still just jog it down. Plus i dont have that annoyance of the auto up bit when the radio is turned on.

Ohh yeah power is measured in watts
