g'day i need a bit of advice to disconnect the ignition immobiliser at the moment i have to wait 40 min with the ignition on and then and only then the car will kick over so if anyone could help me out i would be gratefull cheers.![]()
You will need to get a new key fob and get it programmed at holden.I dont think theres any easy way of disconnecting or bypassing the immobiliser, only what you have been doing, waiting the 45 minutes. Is your key fob's battery flat?.With some VR keys, you can replace the battery in the fob.
yeah tried the battery thats a no go cheers for your help.
I'd go to a wrecker and get a BCM and a key/remote to match. This would be cheaper than buying a new key/remote and getting it programmed plus if the one you have now doesn't work it may be the BCM that's buggered.
