Fog light question

Hi all, i have a question regarding a VR Statesman, when i turn on the headlights they work fine but if i turn the fog lights on, the headlights turn off. Is this normal or is something wrong here, i have owned a few Calais before and the head and foglights always worked together, any help appreciated.

fog lights work with high beam only, if your go to low beam, it will turn off the low beam and just turn on foglights

think there is something wrong definetely, the fog lights work with parkers, low beam and high beam.

the only dont work if they are switchd on on there own

This is the way factory fog lights are wired for VN and VP. I've never Seen a VR or VS with this tho, but i don't see a problem...

I thought they changed the way they worked with the other lights in VN/P/Q with the VR and changed it again in the VS.

VN to VR they turn off your headlights when your foglights are on. But VS doesn't
