aircon/heater vent problem

hi guys, have a vs calais and sometimes when the aircon/heater is on the vents for the face cut out and only the floor ones work.....im not sure if the vs calais uses vacume lines to control this, any help would be greatly appreciated

Check that there is a thin vacuum hose connected at the rear of the intake manifold. See if it fits tightly and is in good condition.

Theres a vacuum tank under the front left guard behind the bumper,a ball looking thing.Check that its got no holes or splits and check the hose going to it for splitting ,cracking etc.

There is a vacuum solenoid pack in the instrument panel centre facia that controls the various actuators and vents. PM me with your email address and I'll send you a diagram. The input to the solenoid pack is the vacuum hose (black) mentioned by accentstencil.
